Ovidia Simona Caba

Expert within Regional Development Agency Centru since 2007, I have graduated the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration of the Babeș-Bolyai University in Cluj-Napoca, with double specialization: International Economic Relations and Marketing. My first contact with project management started with the 2 years masters in International Relations and European Studies, European Affairs and Project Management, within the Faculty of European Studies of Babeş-Bolyai University.

I was Programs Expert within the Agency for 10 years, gaining experience in implementing and managing projects and programs aimed at improving and developing regional policies and financed through national and European funds like CIP/EIP – Services in support of business and innovation, FP7/ Regions of Knowledge, Interreg IV C, Single Market. For almost 4 years I am head of the Business Environment Support and Investment Promotion Unit, foscusing on supporting the business ecosystem in Centru Region.

I have started my activity within RDA Centru with the Enterprise Europe Network and the BISNet Transylvania Project and during these 12 years we constantly promoted the importance of innovation, from concept to practice.
