Florina Dumitrache

Florina has a Masters degree in Communication and Public Relations and has more than 15 years experience in marketing and communication as well as innovation and education. Additionally, she is a geek and a wanderer in life, always adding passion in her work while changing the world. She has been involved in coordinating startup events all over Europe for a couple of years and now, whenever possible, she is either mentoring or supporting startups to find funding and to validate their business model.

Currently, she works as Strategy and Business Development Manager at Bit Sentinel, an infosec startup that provides independent, tailored advice and services that cover all aspects of cybersecurity. She is Co-founder and CEO at CyberEDU, a spin-off Bit Sentinel focused on cyber ranges and cybersecurity education. Since 2013, Florina is one of the leading event coordinators of DefCamp – the largest infosec conference from CEE with more than 2000 attendees and starting with 2019 she is the lead coordinator for Ladies in Cybersecurity – an initiative that supports women in cybersecurity.
