Irina Toma

Is a consultant and researcher with 10 years of working experience earned in the Netherlands in Romania in the fields of digitalization, innovation and sustainability. She is a graduate of University College Utrecht and holds an MSc in Sustainable Development from Utrecht University. In the Netherlands she worked for 5 years in the field of research and CSR metrics at Fairfood International and Global Reporting Initiaitve. In 2018 she returned to Romania and joined the Highclere Consulting team to coordinate Horizon 2020 research projects in 15 European and African countries.

Since 2020 she dedicated herself to the field of innovation and digitalization, working as an expert for Centru Region’s Regional Development Agency, as a consultant for Iceberg+ and as an evaluator for the European Comission (EIC Accelertator and Horizon Europe). 

Since 2022 Irina is the coordinator of the FIT European Digital Innovation Hub orchestrated by Iceberg+.
